Freddie Slater Crowned FRECA Champion Following Dominant Monza Win

Freddie Slater has been crowned the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine Champion after sealing the title with a decisive victory in Race 1 at Monza. Driving for Prema Racing, his campaign featured seven wins — including triumphs at Spa-Francorchamps, Zandvoort, the Hungaroring, and a dominant double at Paul Ricard.

Throughout the season, Slater engaged in a fierce battle with Matteo De Palo, arriving at the finale just four points ahead. During the race, Slater remained calm under pressure and executed a decisive late overtake on race leader Evan Giltare to secure both the victory and the championship. De Palo finished outside the points, confirming Slater’s triumph and cementing his title as Champion.
